uh

The pit is going crazy, you wonder why every show at Toads attracts these tough-guy idiots. You try imagining a few of them wind-milling and floor-punching at the Beenie Man concert here next week and you almost laugh/cry.

Misery Signals finishes up quickly, and you applaud your resilence to abrasive music. Zao takes the stage and begin to remeber all the bad things you have heard about them. You also wonder how it's possible that 3 of the 5 five members are carbon copies of Lemy from Motorhead. Zao starts in and you are impressed to say the least. One song, which you half recognize, borders on transcendtal. They wield their instruments with precision. Best of all the live-mix is half way decent! The guitar runs are articulate and the high vocals remind you of As The Sun Sets. The double bass-drum is methodical to the point of being masturbatory, just how you like it.
