The Mysterious Object

Mike is frozen in terror! He is too scared to look! Who is behind him? The voice starts to laugh. Mike begins to relax. He recognizes the voice. It's only his older sister! "I sure fooled you! I was just kidding!" his older sister says in between her laughs. "That wasn't very nice!" Mike exclaims but he starts to laugh too! He had thought that there was someone scary behind him! Mike puts the jewel in his pocket. Then, he and his older sister walk home together with his new treasure.
