Pick Your Poison 2 (Drugs)

"Mom," you say. "I have something really important to tell you." Your mom looks a little worried as she sits down beside you on your bed. You continue speaking, even though you feel like crawling into a hole. "You know that party at Andrea's that I told you about?" She nods her head yes. "Well..." and then you spill your guts. You tell her about the drinking, your English exam, the weed, everything. There are tears in your mom's eyes as you finish explaining what really happened that night. She tells you that she still loves you, and that she's proud of you for not doing the drugs. She also says that she's glad that she can trust you to come to her and tell the truth whenever you've done something that you're not so proud of. She seems unusually kind and understanding...until she grounds you for a month. Aww man. There's a party next weekend that you were planning to go to. But you know that your mom was way leniant on punishment. If you did this all the time, you'd probably be grounded 'til you were eighty-seven. You don't know what to do. You're torn between what you know is right, and what you know is fun. You've got a big choice to make.
