The Sealed Princess of Five Fates

I grimace, knowing that killing him to keep the secret of Skelp's murder would be difficult, as shades take much effort to peel out of existence. And losing Victora's loyalty would be a blow to my military. He looks at me with a bemused smile; his yellow, toothless grin combined with his peering yellow eyes made him look creepy, even in a place like this temple. He morphs into a shadow which slides across the floor before popping back up a few feet from me. He crossed his arms and tapped his foot against the ground, which made no sound. I let out a sigh and know that I'll have to deal with him.

"Alright," I say, "Let's make a deal. If you remain silent on this little execution, I'll give you a bigger share of the world when it's taken over."

He places a hand on his chin, looking like he was contemplating the offer. After a few seconds he points one of fingers at me in an exagerated pose.

"I want half the kingdom!" He declares.
