The Sealed Princess of Five Fates
"So these are the great intruders who have invaded my temple," I say with a grin, finding the situation amusing. "A pathetic knight, a flashy nun, and... a nudist who fell into an ale barrel? What business do you have here?"
The three warriors stand with their limbs stiff with tension. After a few seconds of silence, the knight speaks up. "We've come to finish you off!" He says. "We heard about the seal set on you long ago, and how it's slowly diminishing. So we're here to kill you before you can launch an assault on the people we love. We are the one hope that the people have to..."
His speech trailed on as I just examined my nails, a bit annoyed that I even bothered to ask them, since the answer was pretty obvious. Noticing that I'm not paying attention the knight makes a command for the barrel man to charge.
"Why me?" The barrel man asks. "I didn't even want to come down here, but you promised me treasure. Fighting HER was not in the job description."
The mage decided to chip in. "Because you drunk idiot," She says, turning to him. "Now that she knows we're here and planning on killing her, she most likely isn't going to let us live if we decide to back out or retreat. Also, you should go first since you're the most... uh... bulky of us."
The barrel man just stares at the mage for a few seconds before sighing and turning to face me and Skelp.
"Alright," He says, "I'll hold her off while you two take care of the skeleton. But you better hurry, I don't feel like dying today. I've got things I want to do after this. Like drink, and maybe buy some comfortable clothes with any treasure we find."
He charges at me, raising his ax.
