Extend the Story - Add a Room

Disguised Amongst Mortals by n0mn0m
Annie doesn't even hesitate. "No you didn't."

It's true, you didn't. But you always feel…off after eating her cooking. There was one time with a cupcake — frosted with your favorite color, which was adorable of her — where you couldn't remember anything else that had happened that day after eating it. Even now, trying to recall the feeling, all you're left is static, blurry memories that verge on hallucinations. It's like the feeling of trying to remember your childhood with her, but…softer?

You've tried explaining this to her before, but she just tilts her head and has no idea what you're talking about, so you've dropped it, but swore not to ingest any more of her food.

Annie pouts, and you have to admit that her shiny pink lipgloss paired with her wide, innocent eyes is extremely effective. You feel guilt hit you like a truck. "You don't like it…?"

She offers the cookie again.
You take it.
