That river in Egypt
As she lifted the glass up to his face, he leaned back and turned his head. He needed water, but he was not drinking that. No way, not with her spit in it.
"Oh, you don't want to drink anymore?"
"No ughhh I do"
"You just refused, I don't think you really want it"
She was really frustrating him. He wanted to scream.
"Miss please can I have some water"
"I just offered you water, and you turned away. I don't feel like offering any to you again"
She walked over to the sink, slowly so that he had time to process exactly what she was doing. She held the glass up and started to turn it, intending to pour it all out.
"NO WAIT"
Her back was to him, so she let out a small smile. She knew that would work. As if she couldn't just refill the glass again, she had caught him in her mind game.
"Please Miss I want it"
"Oh so NOW you want to drink? Nah, I don't think I believe you"
"Nononono please Miss please I want it, please I'll be good I'll do what you say"
"Really?"
"Yes Miss Rennala, please"
