Rennala opened the front door and walked in, closing and locking the door behind her. Damocles was sitting in the chair at the table, still cuffed exactly how she had left him.
"Heya Pet"
She dumped her bags on the table in-front of him and then stood behind him, grabbing the back of the chair.
"You miss me?"
"Uhhhhh"
He wasn't sure what to say. He didn't want to piss her off by saying no, and admittedly he was really wanting her to come back since he was dying for a drink. But at the same time he still wanted to leave and she was always keeping him there.
"I'm very glad to see that you didn't go anywhere. I'd hate for you to ruin things and prevent yourself from reaching your potential. Good boy"
She patted the top of his head, giving his hair a little scratch. He really needed water, he hadn't drank all day. She continued playing with his hair while he tried to figure out how to ask for water. On the one hand, he really did need a drink, but on the other, he didn't want to ask her for anything since he didn't even want to be there. Asking her for something was almost like accepting his captivity.
