Edible Arrangements
You continued to walk to walk through the mall, checking the faces of everyone that walked past you, even making a few passes by the food court after remembering Trent's near constant appetite. Eventually a large hand grabbed your shoulder, anxiety building within you as the hand pulled on your shoulder, forcing you to turn and face your potential attacker.
Your eyes met with a pure black T-shirt, barely containing a large set of pectoral muscles. Broad shoulders filled your view, one muscled arm outstretched towards you with it's end still resting on your shoulder. Looking up, you were filled with relief and happiness as the handsome chiseled face of Trent came into view. There he was in all of his glory, standing at least six inches taller than you, clean shaven with brown messy hair, beautiful green eyes and a smile that could kill.
You stepped forward and hugged the man, shamelessly pressing your face into his warm, kind of squishy but firm pecs. This elicited a laugh from the man who spoke in a soft tone.
"Dude, you act like I've been missing for six months every time we meet up. We see each other every week."
You nodded and let go of him, shrugging as you took a step back to not strain your neck looking up at him. "Yeah, but you're my best friend. And I gotta make sure you haven't been replaced by a shapeshifting alien. I know exactly how your pecs feel, no alien could replicate those breasts."
Trent groaned and rolled his eyes, moving his hand from your shoulder to your head to ruffle your hair briefly before gesturing for you to follow. The two of you proceeded to walk through the mall for a while, mostly going in circles around the building, occasionally stepping into a store to pretend to shop while catching up and talking about your weeks. Eventually you had to go to the bathroom for a bit, and when you came back Trent was standing there looking more smug than usual, holding something behind his back. You walked up to him and spoke up. "You.. did something. I can tell. You look a certain way when you do things, and you look that way right now."
Trent scoffed, feigning offense at your remark. "I do not look a certain way when I do things! I don't even know what that's supposed to mean. But in this one instance I did do something." He smiled, finally removing his hands from behind himself. In his large hands was a silver watch, it even looked perfect for your wrist size. You took the item while Trent stared at you with a big goofy grin on his face, your own face still filled with shock. "You got this for me? It's so nice! Thank you thank thank you!" You jumped forward and hugged him again. While clenching his body, side of your head pressed against his chest, you heard a loud rumble and growl from deep within him not too far below your ear, causing you to blush, which Trent hadn't noticed. "Yeah, maybe next time you'll make it here on time so I don't have to walk around the mall alone waiting on you. Now come on, I'm starving, I wanna hit the food court."
