You’re still reeling from what just happened with Billy, the terror weighing down on you. Desperate for some clarity, you shake Mary awake, her eyes blinking rapidly as confusion clouds her features.

“What’s going on?” she asks, her voice hoarse with sleep.

Before you can respond, the urgency of the situation compels you. You barely explain, but she sees the fear in your eyes and, without hesitation, she gets up, following you out into the cold night.

As you both reach the road, you see him—Billy—down the way. He’s twitching violently, his body jerking in unnatural, horrific spasms.

A chill grips you, but before you can react, Mary charges ahead, her voice echoing in the silent night.

“Billy!”

Her call barely leaves her lips before the nightmare escalates.

You watch in frozen horror as Billy turns to her, his face contorting with an otherworldly rage. He grabs her by the head, his fingers digging into her skull with inhuman strength. You can only stand there, paralyzed by what you’re witnessing.

With a sickening twist, Billy pries her eyeballs from her face, her scream cutting through the night air. In one swift motion, he slashes her throat with his finger—no longer human, but a monstrous extension of something else entirely.

Blood spills in torrents as Mary’s body goes limp, her final cries of agony barely audible over the sound of her life draining away.

You stand there, unable to move, as the horror unfolds before you.
