Humanities weakness.

Despite your illness and lack of appetite, you decide to eat lunch anyway. Almost immediately, you regret it. Your stomach churns, nausea intensifies, and a deep fatigue settles over you. To make things worse, your roommates—Mary, John, and Billy—also start feeling sick not long after.

A sinking feeling creeps into your mind. Was it something in the food?

Not wanting to dwell on it, you drag yourself back to your room, hoping that sleep will help you recover. You collapse onto your bed, pulling the blankets over yourself as your body shivers from fever and exhaustion.

Hours pass in uneasy sleep.

When you wake up, the clock reads 4 AM. The apartment is eerily silent, except for the faint creak of the floorboards outside your room. Through the dim light slipping under your door, you see a shadow moving. One of your roommates is awake.

You hear slow footsteps heading toward the kitchen. Something about it feels… off.

Do you get up to investigate, or stay in bed and try to ignore it?
