Detective Wolf and the Flatwoods Fighter

Deciding to help the man, Wolf fell back and let the cold depth consume him. When his head resurfaced he watched as the boat vanished into the distance. He blew it, now he was going to get away. He turned back to the sailor. The man began rambling incoherently as he clutched his bleeding hand. Detective Wolf swam over to the man and carried him to land, The sailor was a mess, stuttering numerously as Wolf did his best to bandage his bloody fingers. A sound erupted from further back in the river, from where the yacht was before the culprit attacked. Wolf turned and saw the catfish dead in the water, its corpse floating to him, as something pink was in his mouth. Strangely, Wolf could see no obvious cause of death. Perhaps he could investigate to figure that out. It could be important, and relate with the culprit, or he could try to question the sailor. Maybe he could tell him the culprit's identity, or maybe he would go nowhere and just be a waste of time. One thing was for sure,, between two possibly vital sources of evidence Wolf only had time to comb through one before resuming his chase.
