Deleterious

After returning home, you sit down at your computer and begin typing in stuff in the search bar, looking for arguments using Google Scholar. You read several articles and start taking notes on your notebook, but after a while you start to become hostile to the notion of having to render other people's arguments, based on premises you find to be shaky and unfounded. There is an inherent political bias in every article you find, and the mode of approaching these topics is not built on reason but on rhetoric and persuasion. You find a few arguments which are compelling and decide to only write down the points you think are valid and good.
