You try to pick a new topic, but the coach sees you and notices that you are violating the rules; once you pick out a card, you must say what is on the paper and you must commit to the topic. You cannot rescind. This is a consequence of having already made the choice.

"Tanner, this is a violation of our rules. Say what the topic is and move to the left wall after you are done."
