Doors and More Doors

Relief courses over your body as you take a deep breath. You can't end somebody's life, that's ridiculous. This may be a crazy situation, but you're not about to become crazy with it. You grab his hand and say, "Ok, help me get out of here." He grins and says, "Quick, this way." Just as you slip into another room, you hear a stampeding and a storming of troops up the stairs. They fill out within the hallway, but you're safe in a room. What is this room? It's a large meeting room. "This is pretty much the only exit," he says, whilst running towards the window on the far side of the room. "Help me get this open." You grab the window and start to yank it open. Suddenly, it shatters. You look at the door and soldiers have found your location. They yell to their commanding officer and he walks out. "We've been looking for you," he says in an evil manner. He is evil, by the way, if you can't tell.

The man you spared looks at you strangely confident. You match him with a terrified gaze. He says one word. "Jump." Confused, the evil guy raises his arm and says, "Ready? Aim..." The spared man leaps from the room and falls down from the building. You look and see all the skyscrapers around the hotel. You remember the word he said. "Jump." That's what he said. You're positive he said that. He just did, are you kidding me? He jumped out of a building. The soldiers surrounding you place their sights on you. The evil guy's mouth opens. All you hear is "Jump.", though, over and over again.

He says, one last time in your head, "Jump."
