Doors and More Doors

You choose look around the room more. Fair. However, the door you once focused your gaze on just a moment ago folds in on itself and soon there is nothing there but white paint. You rush over and feel it over. There is no slit in the wall, no place where it used to be. Nothing. Nada. I tried to tell you, nothing in this story is guaranteed. You could've stepped through that door and had one of the coolest stories I've written so far. You get to be a sushi chef and stuff, it's awesome. Not anymore. You're stuck here now, this is your new fate. Is it deserved? You may not think so, but that's the way life is sometimes. After feeling the entirety of the wall, you step back, in awe. There's no way that just happened. It did, though, and things can get even crazier if you don't calm down and think logically.

You look closer around the room. It lacks windows, and the door you first stepped through has never been there. It was simply a gateway here. The other plates on the table glare at you. The eggs are still steaming and the lobster is delivering a cold stare. "Why didn't you choose us?" they ask you. "We're just as delicious as that beef." You look around helplessly. There is a serious lack of an exit. They get closer and closer. Suddenly, you hear a chopper in the distance. The lobsters claws click-clack. The egg slips and slides towards you. Out of nowhere, a ladder drops and you see that there is a you-sized hole in the ceiling. "Up, up!" a voice shouts from the ceiling.
