Growth and Grit

You do some research and find that there is another rock climbing wall called Movement only half an hour away. So after much persuasion, you convince your parents to buy you a membership there and climb there. But you find out soon that it's lonely to rock climb by yourself. You find that one of the things you need for rock climbing is some friends to do it with. But this rock climbing wall is way too big. You can't seem to find anyone who doesn't already have friends there or that would be willing to pull out their earbuds to listen to you. So you go there less and less and eventually, you tell your parents to cancel the membership. You decide that climbing is fun with no one to do it with, but not a passion worth pursuing. Maybe you can find another passion to pursue instead?
