Criminals

You ram into the police car, but the car barely moves. You try to reverse out of the situation, but there's a car behind you too, and to the side. You open the door and get out, starting to run, but the police are on you in a second. You don't try to put up a fight but they beat you down with their truncheons anyway. You're handcuffed and thrown in a police car. They know you did it, it's too late. You'll either get the death sentence or spend life in jail. You think you'll ask for the death sentence. Maybe if you ask nicely enough they'll let you have it.
