What is this feeling

You take your time making blueberry pancakes for you and your mom. When she wakes up she is very happy with your food. You give her a hug and walk to the bus stop. When you get on the bus all the seats are full except for two, a girl about your age who has her face stuffed in a book, or a boy who looks a couple years older than you. Who will you sit by?
