Everything Went Dark
Ha! I love being non-descriptive. Anyways, Elliana looked down at the remote. It was the big red button. Huh. I mean, it was pretty easy to press. It was big and very tempting. As soon as it was pressed, they were sucked into a dark void. Neither were holding onto Evie, so she wasn't with them. After a very short time in this darkness, Emma and Elliana were back on REV's campus. Except this time, the remote had changed and there was a large poster on one of the school's walls.
'SAVE THEM'
Was all the poster said. Emma didn't recognize it, so it wasn't a poster that ASB put up. Weird. What was also weird was that the remote was a little different too. The small red button was gone. There was now two medium sized buttons. One was grey and the other was black. The grey one had a thumbs up on it. The black button had a rewind symbol on it. Elliana pushed the grey button. They looked around to see what would happen. A bird flew by. So basically nothing happened. Elliana then pushed the black button. Nothing happened. At least to them. What the two hadn't realized was that the black button actually reset the scene. They failed to notice that their surroundings had literally been rewound. The grey button actually didn't do anything (yet).
The two decided that since they had no idea what to do, they should walk around campus. Maybe they would find someone to help or something to do. They walked around the quad and looped back to their lunch table. There were ten objects on the table. The objects were: a dead butterfly, a mirror, a typewriter, a radio, a pocketknife, wade's severed head, an old map, a regular gun, a bloody and torn flag, and a laser gun.
The remote in Elliana's hand shook rapidly. She dropped it out of surprise and it landed face down. It stopped shaking after a minute or so. Emma hesitantly picked it up. There were ten small buttons added onto the remote. Each had an image of one of the items on the table. Only one button wasn't grayed out. A new button would be unlocked after completing each mission.
They decided that they probably should push the only button on the remote that they could.
