Jack woke up first and went to the kitchen to make himself breakfast. He noticed a pot and was going to use it to cook something. Then, interrupting the quiet, he heard doors open and close. He was struck with sudden inspiration. This was a killing game after all. Jack silently snuck down the hallway. He didn’t care who it was, he just picked up the pot and smashed it into whoever it was. It was Emma. Feeling the adrenaline, he dropped the pot and went to Tatum’s dorm. He knew she would most likely be asleep. Now, his initial plan was to gaslight her into thinking she killed Emma, but when she woke up he chose violence and strangled her.
He realized what he did. Jack just murdered two of his friends. Jack left Tatum's dorm and started to walk back to the kitchen where he would resume making his breakfast. He passed by Jennan, who was for some reason convinced that she had killed Emma. Jack listened to her, also convinced her she killed Tatum as well, and promised that he would keep her "secret". He left and noticed Evie was in the dining hall when Jack walked by. Evie didn’t notice him, she seemed pretty tired. He made his breakfast quickly and joined her, saying he was in the kitchen the entire morning. Evie was acting weird because she was both really upset after seeing her friends dead and she was still tired.
