Everything Went Dark
There is no happy end.
Elliana had just been picked up by Addie. They were going to be on their way to REV. The normal way they go was blocked off due to road work, they would have to take the freeway. That was fine, the freeway wasn't very busy at this time. It was 3 am after all. They were having some conversation about something that doesn't matter. What does matter is what happens next.
As they were driving, some white van sped up to drive next to them and rolled down their window. Neither Elliana or Addie could tell who was in the car. Addie sped up even more. The white van caught up to them, and before anyone could process what happened, a gunshot rang out. Addie slumped forwards. While absolutely panicking, Elliana grabbed the sheering wheel and tried to drive it because it was swerving everywhere. The white van sped up even more and parked directly ahead. The people stayed in the car. Elliana couldn't stop it, the car she was in slammed into the other car. It caught on fire. Elliana couldn't get out. The window had shattered, but she was stuck in place. The smoke was getting to her, she felt woozy. Elliana remembered something that said if you were stuck in a fire and there was no way you could survive, inhaling the smoke as fast as possible will lead to you passing out, so you don't burn conscious. She did exactly that and everything went dark.
