Everything Went Dark

There is no happy end.

It is dark. It is 3 am. Jennan is walking to REV. You and your friends have plans to meet up. Someone had planted an explosive which had blown campus up...during school. A lot of people did get out, however, out of the eight friends, only seven made it out. But because there was no body found, Emma was considered missing. Which was better than being confirmed as dead, it gave the other seven hope. But Jennan had information, she knew what was going on. She knew why the explosion happened and she knew who planted the explosive. This made her valuable.

In fact, Evie also knew. As did Tatum. Only one of them would be happy to hear that Jennan was going to tell everyone what happened, but that's okay. It will be worth it. The piece of information is very important. That's why they're all meeting at 3 am in a place that's literally blocked off. Jennan was the one who suggested that they meet. She wasn't supposed to tell the secret, but she had to get it off her chest.

But now she was regretting walking. Sure, she was closeish to REV, but walking alone in the dark wasn't fun. She heard a car driving up behind her. Yikes, she was going to look suspicious. Jennan sped up her walking pace a little. It was a white van with no license plate. They just kept on driving, paying no mind to Jennan. She didn't slow down, though. After a minute or so, she saw the van again. This time, it started slowing down. It pulled over to where Jennan was. Oh no. Jennan started running. She knew what was happening. She knew who was in the van. The van pulled away from the curb and sped up too. Jennan started to sprint, but there was no way that she could outrun the van. Her legs burned, she was tired. But she couldn't stop. She could see REV. She could see Jack's jeep and Emma's car among other cars that were never driven home after the explosion.

She heard one of the van's windows get rolled down. Jennan didn't stop to look at who they were, she was trying to focus on running. And then she felt a poke in her arm. Suddenly, she felt woozy. She slowed to a stop. Jennan couldn't speak or think properly. She twisted her arm around. Tranquilizer dart. Someone stepped out of the van. She never saw who it was and she never will.

She fell to the ground. The last thing she saw was the flickering street lamp and the shadow of someone reaching for her. 'No one would ever see her again.' That thought wasn't very comforting. But the thoughts faded just as everything went dark.
