Everything Went Dark

That is exactly what Jack was wondering. Jack was in his dorm, practically petrified with fear. He had a loud metal clattering sound. He heard Tatum screaming. He smelled smoke. He heard Evie screaming. Jack had planned on leaving his dorm, but decided to not anymore. From who he could hear screaming, Jack assumed that the killer could either be Jennan or Emma. He hasn't heard a sound from them yet, but they could have been killed quietly. Still, Jack didn't want to leave. He was sitting with his back against the door. Even though it was locked, he was scared that whoever it was could break in.

There wasn't anything he could use as a weapon. He had his fists. That wouldn't be enough...He was really freaking out here. Someone knocked on his door. Jack froze. He didn't make a sound. They knocked again. And again. When that didn't work, they tried to jiggle the doorknob. Jack didn't move, if he did there was a chance that whoever was on the other side of the door could see his shadow moving.

They stopping trying to get in, but they would be back to try again. Jack stayed in place, they could have just stepped a few steps back. After about ten minutes, someone knocked on the door again. Oh, so they must have left. Even if he wanted to, Jack didn't move. He was petrified. There wasn't anymore knocks after that. And then something shattered. The person had thrown a something glass at his door! But that wouldn't really knock the door down....hey. Did he smell alcohol?

Oh no.

It occurred to Jack that some sort of extra-explosive molotov had been thrown at him. The force of the explosion knocked Jack to the ground away from the door. What was left of the door was laying splintered around the room. The desk had caught on fire, maybe the bed did too. Jack couldn't tell. He couldn't move. He was lying on his stomach in the middle of the room. Whoever had thrown the molotov must have assumed that Jack was on his bed, they weren't expecting him to be by the door.

Jack was struggling to breath. He had the breath knocked out of him. He was pretty sure some of his ribs were cracked. He had some burns...maybe. Some of his skin was bright red, but it didn't hurt. So maybe his skin wasn't burnt? Hopefully not. There was silence, other than the spreading fire. Jack could see the feet of whoever had thrown the molotov. They kicked a piece of the door out of the way. Jack didn't hear it land, his hearing must be damaged.

The person knelt down beside him. They had another molotov. The person mockingly tossed it up, but caught it. When Jack didn't move, they tilted his head upwards. Jack winced. That hurt. He could see who it was though. They ran out of the room, probably to throw the other molotov. The person wasn't Emma, which was a surprise to Jack considering he hadn't heard her scream or anything. However, the person was-
