It was 4 A.M. Tatum had woken up. She had remembered something. And it was one of those times where you have to check the thing or you won't ever be able to fall back asleep. Tatum pushed herself out of bed and walked out of her dorm. She went to the bathrooms, but didn't use it. She went into the kitchen. She was looking for her water bottle. She had left it behind somewhere as the chaos the previous day was occurring. And there it was.
As some may know, that water bottle wasn't filled with water. It was filled with cyanide. If old, some poisons become either less or more effective as time goes by. Tatum knew she held the cyanide in her water bottle for a long time and was unsure if the poison was still effective or not. She needed to test it. She pulled out a piece of bread and held her breath as she poured some of the contents onto the bread slice. She quickly closed her bottle and set it by the sink. She watched the bread. The bread seemed to absorbed it. Tatum was relived. It wasn't toxic anymore. Tatum left and went back to bed.
There are a few things Tatum forgot to consider. One: even though cyanide can be absorbed by and be broken down by other things, doesn't mean it is harmless. Two: she left the bottle of cyanide in the kitchen. Three: she left the now poisonous piece of bread on the counter. Four: she had forgotten that she can't leave her dorm until 7 A.M., per the rules.
On her way back to her dorm, a spike popped out of the ground. It was covered in something called Thallium poison, otherwise known as the Poisoner's Poison. It is the must slowly effective poison there is. Typically it could take about 6 days with no treatment to kill. However, there was quite a lot of Thallium on the spike. Tatum stepped on it. Winced, but since it didn't hurt that badly, she continued to head back to her dorm.
Now, we will cut to when Jack woke up. 7 A.M. He went into the kitchen to make himself something to eat. He started making eggs and bacon. No toast. After a short while, he noticed that Tatum's water bottle was near the sink. He dumped it out, planning on refilling it. He heard Evie walk in. She had picked up the bread that was on the counter, thinking that Jack had made it. She ate it, and b̴̢̨͍̄̇e̶͚̎̇̕c̴̟̻̫̀a̶̮̲̕u̴̟̓̿̽s̶̠̻̐ȩ̸͕̿̿̾ ̷̡͖̘͝ś̷͉͕̀ḣ̸̗͔͜͝e̸̤̅̈͘ ̶̪̃̓k̴̡̗̈́̇̈n̷͈̐̍̈ĕ̷̤̟ͅẁ̵͓ ̸̪̈́t̴̤̀̀̀h̶̢͕̘̕͘ä̸̻̲̰͠t̵̹̀ ̸͍́͋̉Ț̶̳͂͘a̵̳̍̈͝t̷͍͇̱̉́ů̵̩ͅm̵͕̱̻̆'̴̭͇̈̀s̷̢̙̬̚ ̸͖̌̑̃w̸̱̏͆a̶̘͠t̴̹̮̽̉ḛ̸̄̓̓r̸̙̦̆̎̍ ̷̗̈́b̴̺̞͗ỏ̵̩̼̥̚͝t̷̛͚̟̯t̷͇̝̾l̴̦̣̊ȩ̵̀ ̵͈̆̎͂h̶̢͙̉͘ã̶̼d̷͙̳͒ ̴̅̍͜ͅc̴̭̺̈́y̷̱̋̍a̵̦͑͗͝ń̵̡̫̘i̸̙͛͂d̸͖͍͑e̵̻̒̂͛͜ ̵̞̘͎̉̿̉-she noticed that Jack was pouring something that smelled of stale almonds into the sink. She assumed that he had poisoned her and freaked out. It led to a chase ending in the pantry with a curtain rope. That's how Jack died.
After Emma was shot in the dining hall, Jennan and Jordan stumbled upon Evie and Jack in the pantry. Evie would die during the trials shortly after. Tatum had forgotten about her night walk. She will die a slow and miserable death, unless voted otherwise. This will be explained in a moment. True alibis will not be said because they are not needed anymore.
