I mean, who wouldn't open the box after reading those signs. It made opening the box extremely tempting. So, obviously, Elliana walked around the box to try to find a way to open it. Because of all the warnings, it would make sense that the box's opening would be difficult to find.
And because of her inability to find the box's opening, Elliana got mad. So she kicked the box. It was surprisingly light. The box fell over with a soft thud. Elliana froze. Had any aliens heard that? To be safe, Elliana dove behind a few boxes and kept quiet. After a few minutes of total silence, she got back up, and went back to the box. There was a button on the top of the box. Weird...Eh, actually not that weird. At this point, Elliana was craving for something normal to happen.
