Everything Went Dark
Weird indeed. Evie looked around. Everything was black, white, and grey. She saw Jennan standing a bit behind her body. She looked very dead. Jennan saw Evie looking at her and waved. Evie waved back and noticed that her hand was a weird inky black. She looked down. Her entire body had just been replaced with some weird floating ink. There was a rope-looking thing that was tied around her ankle that led to her actual body. She looked over at Jack and saw that he was also a floating ink thing. Behind Jack was Addie, or maybe her corpse. She wasn't moving. She looked behind herself and saw Tatum...maybe? There was so much bones and blood that it was hard to tell.
And then the chaos started. Evie--er, Tatum in Evie's body-- had started to strangle Jack. Addie, who was in Jack's body, did nothing to stop it. Jack naturally panicked and tried to see if tugging on the rope around his ankle would do anything. Evie followed his lead. But nothing worked. And finally, right before Jack was about to be killed, Evie decided to see if hugging her body would take her back. And it did!! It was really jarring, though. She felt instantly warm again. All the colors and sounds had returned to her full force. And her hands..oh right! She was going to stop Jack from being strangled!!
But she was too late. Jack had already died by the time Evie could do anything. Evie sat at the table for a few more moments before simply standing up and walking away. She felt that being at a table with two dead bodies and one outside of the school wasn't very good for her reputation.
