Everything Went Dark

Nope, nope, nope. There was no way Elliana was going to go through alien property. If they deemed it dangerous, how much more dangerous would it be to a human? Elliana turned around and continued to walk towards the large vent. This time, she walked a lot faster.

After approaching the vent, she looked down to see if she could see anything, unlike the last few vents she was in. And she could!! She could see grass!! This must be like a trash chute or something. Elliana didn't care. The vent did have a decline like the other vent slide she went on. So, she walked right in, sat down, and pushed herself down the vent. It was a much more enjoyable experience because it she could see, it was shorter, she had a soft landing, and she got out of the ship!! Elliana sat on the grass for a moment, just happy she was alive.

Then she heard some voices she recognized. Emma, Jordan, and...was that Addie? Elliana really didn't want to interfere with this stuff anymore, but hey. Those were her friends. Turns out, Elliana was really close to the entrance of the UFO. She creeped a little closer and hid behind one of the ship's legs. Addie was assuring Emma and Jordan that everything was fine and she just wanted to show them something cool. They boarded the ship and that was the last thing she heard. She was about to leave when she headr someome else walking out of the ship. It was Jack. Elliana watched him closely and saw him holding some kind of chemical beaker filled with bright green sprinkles. He pulled out his phone and used th voice to text feature and said,"Hey, Jennan! I'll be a little later than I thought to the hangout, I'm picking something up for the four of us. See you guys soon."

He pulled out a remote and pressed something, then walked away as if nothing had happened. He disappeared from view. The UFO's engined turned on. The ship rattled slightly, preparing to take off. Elliana was already regretting what she was doing, but she jumped up and clung onto the vent slide she was on. The UFO started to slowly lift off the ground. Elliana had to swing her leg up to stay on. The rest of the ship was probably fine, but the area she was on was rattling intensely. Elliana stuck out her arms to try and hold herself in using the walls. It was kind of effective, but her arms became tired really quickly. She could see the top of REV by now. Falling off now would result in death. Her arms buckled and she screeched, trying to grab onto anything she could to save herself. Elliana was about to slide off the vent when a metal door slammed shut, closing off the exit and blocking her view of REV. At least she wasn't going to fall off now. But she was on the ship.

All Elliana knew was that she had to find her friends. She stuck her arms out again and did the same with her legs. She felt like a disabled spider. Push, pull. Push, pull. Push, pull. A tedious, and annoying cycle. Elliana fell and slid back down the vent a few times. Thankfully, the vent door prevented her from falling. The fourth time she attempted to climb the vent, she got so so close. She used her legs to push herself upwards. She used all the energy she had. And she did it! Elliana had grabbed one of the sides of the vent entrance and pulled herself up from there. After safely getting onto the flat floor of the storage room, she sat down and rested her head against the wall. Ow. Everything hurt, especially since she still hasn't recovered from the fall into the storage room.

Elliana sighed. She had to do something. She was the only unattended human on this ship. The world could be at risk. Her friends could be getting hurt right now. She tried her best to ignore the immense pain she felt and stood back up. Time to go save her friends...and maybe the world.
