Everything Went Dark
The order was selected. It wasn't anything too important, it was just who volunteered to go. Addie was smart for volunteering first, everyone else realized. It was going to be hell watching their friends die. The anticipation of it all would probably kill them first.
However, the rebellion wasn't going to let their leaders go down without a fight. The four were led onto the podium. They saw the guillotine that shone in the sunlight. There was a silence. As one of the guards began to lead Addie to the guillotine, a gun was fired. It hit a guard in their forehead. They fell over. Chaos began to ensue. Gunshots and screams echoed throughout the area. Jennan was shot and fell to the ground. The guards who were holding onto them were trying to keep track of the prisoners and shoot the rebellion.
"Viva la Revolution!"
"Viva la Neutral Grounds!"
"Viva la New Rome!"

The still standing prisoners began to wiggle frantically. Addie managed to get out and dove behind the guillotine to hide from the gunshots and guards. Jordan and Jack were still trying to get out of the guard's grip. Jack manged to get away and in the split second after, he thought of two things he could do...
