Everything Went Dark
A screen plays the scenes as Elliana is explaining. Others fill in the bits and pieces she missed.
Elliana walked out of the gym, very curious to check the place out. She went into Lab B because that was the closest place to the gymnasium. Jack was already in there when she walked in. They looked around for a few minutes and when they left to go look at the other Labs, the two ran into Evie!
They all walked together to go check out Lab A. In there, Elliana found a scalpel and decided to hold onto it, just in case. Jack and Evie didn't question anything. Evie and Elliana left together, Jack stayed a moment longer. After walking back near the gym, the two girls split up. Elliana went down the dorm hallway and Evie went back into the gymnasium.
By the time Jack had gotten near that area, he ran into Tatum, who was talking with Addie. Tatum and Jack exchanged greetings while Addie spotted Elliana and started talking to her. Tatum left quickly after though, going into the kitchen. Jack went into Lab C. However, Elliana stayed talking with Addie.
She had noticed something odd with her phone and wanted to show Elliana. Their phones had a button about the rules of this place. Addie explained how she didn't feel safe and suggested that it would be easier to stage a double suicide so they could get out of this place quicker. Elliana did not want to kill herself with Addie, yet she agreed and followed Addie back into the laundry room. Addie had found some bright blue laundry detergent. When her back was turned, Elliana pulled out her tennis racket and slammed it onto Addie's head. The strings broke, some strands getting into her hair. It didn't knock Addie out, just made her dazed and really confused. She probably had a terrible headache. Elliana pulled out the scalpel and hesitated. She was about to apologize and stop what she was doing. But then Addie surprised her by taking Elliana's hand and slashing her own throat.
Yet because it was Elliana's hand that held the scalpel, she would inevitably be forced to take the blame. Addie laid on the ground, which caused Elliana to panic. She dragged Addie over to a bundle of clothes and tried to cover her with them. There were blood streaks on the floor. Elliana dropped the scalpel on the ground and left quickly to go back down the dorm hallway. Her hoodie had gotten blood on it, so she tied on around her waist.
Evie had exited the gym by now and was walking down to check out the dorms when she got a peek inside the laundry room because the door had been cracked open. Her eyes widened and she slammed the door shut. Elliana heard the door close and she went to see who it was. Elliana managed to convince Evie not to say a word. Evie left and went to go somewhere else, which is why she begged Tatum and Emma to say she was with them the last bit.
Jack had also started to walk down that hallway. Elliana had gone back down the dorm hallway, so she didn't know Jack was there. Jack opened the door to the laundry room and saw the bloody scalpel. He knew who it was that killed whoever was under the clothes. He didn't want to check who. However, he didn't say anything because he was scared that Elliana would kill him if he said anything. So, he silently went down the dorm hallway and chatted with Elliana as if nothing was wrong.
What Jack and Evie didn't know was that Addie was half alive. Once Jack had left, Addie was only alive for a minute or two longer. Could she have been saved? Yea, probably. But I guess that's just how panic can control everything.
