Everything Went Dark

Evie had spaced out and blinked in surprise as Jennan repeated her name. Evie was still smiling, like she always does. "I was with Jennan for the first minute or so. I changed paths though, I went up to the dining hall and Jennan continued to go down the hallway. I was in the dining room and then I went back to the gymnasium." She stopped, as if she was finished. Then she very quickly added,"Then I joined whoever was in the kitchen."
