Everything Went Dark

It had been about ten minutes since Jennan had last seen anyone. Even though her phone had died, Jennan went to check the time out of habit. She was happy to see that her phone had recharged...somehow. She unlocked her phone and noticed that every single app had disappeared. Weird. Suddenly, her thoughts were interrupted by a glitchy and robotic voice that blared over the speakers in every room that Jennan didn't even know were there. It said:

"Ā̵̛͓̳͔̜͖̜͆̋̏͑ ̵̢̲̿͌̑͆̀̆͊̎̿͛͐̆̚ḅ̶̛̬̆̍̏̑͊̏̀͋͠ͅô̴͙͔̋̾d̴̡̧͕̦̄̆̓̾ͅy̸̛̟̘͂̾̃̂̈̚ ̵̢̹̭̮̱̝̝̲̠͙̦̫͇̍̎̈́͌͘̕ḩ̴̧͔͚̳̠͎̜͚̰̓̈́̈́̈́́̈́̀͜a̵͚͙̞̥͖͈̬̫̞̓͜ͅs̵̠̫̯͐̓̃̇͝ ̸̧̛̞̯̫͚̫͕̯͈̻̗̻̪́̏̇̅̿̾̊̽͐͌̾̀͜ͅb̵̩̭̩͔͍̘̠̯̘̞̝͙͇͎̬̓̆̽͌̐̈̄̋̃̈͌̎̀̕è̴̙̫̲̈̿͐͝͝e̷͖̙̰͉͔͔͓͖̟͓̾̇̈̆̚n̵̺̾̇́́͂̍̓̚͝ ̴̢̛͔͑̀̇̀́̀͒̌̚͠d̷̢͙̺̝͋̋̕ͅͅi̷̮̙̞͒͑͋̆ͅs̸̨͔̞͔͇̪̲͓̺͎̝̰͌̀̈́̋̓̀́̌̒̀̀͂̋̕͝ͅc̵̟̗͔̲̯̰͍̠̗͍̱̋̒ͅo̴̧̘̭͂̔͆͋̅͗̂́̚v̴̡̼̰̮̾é̶͓̱̥͔̼͔̘̇̍̽̈̀͆̄̚ͅr̸̨̠̣̦̗̣̙̘͔͔̱̻͛͒̏͊́̉̔͂̈̉͜ȩ̵̮̯̄̑̊̌͋d̷̛̜͆̉͌̊̃͆͒̔̎̄.̴͓̞͇̝̭͔̺͍̳̳̳̀̓̿̂̀́͐̿̿͊̌́͗́̕"

What was going on? Maybe it had something to do with Evie's weird question. Jennan decided that the best place to go would be back to the gym. Hopefully her other friends would go there also.
