A Night of Desperate Ladies
Once Courtney is finally on the couch and covered with a blanket, Jenna sighs loudly.
"Wow, I am so sorry you had to deal with all of that, an incredibly thankful to find such a great guy to help her out like that! I would say that this is out of the ordinary, but this happened semi-frequently when we were in college. We graduated straight into the pandemic, so we weren't able to properly celebrate our graduation. We're both teachers so this past year has been pretty awful, and this is our first real chance to let loose. I knew she was going to go overboard, but this is bad even by her standards."
"It's OK, I'm happy to help. It looks like you've been having fun otherwise. Here, have a seat over there. Do you want another drink?"
"Thanks! My feet are sore from these stupid shoes."
She sits down in the chair and moves to take off her shoes, but it seems like she's having trouble bending over. Her bladder must be close to bursting! After a quick pause she manages to kick them off then lays back in the chair while exhaling deeply.
"Oh yeah, so much better! Yeah, we were having a good time. And yes, I'll take that drink. I'm cocktailed out, so what else do you have that's not sweet? I'll take a beer if its not too hoppy, or wine, preferably something dry and red but I'm not picky."
It's painfully obvious she is desperate to pee, but too shy to ask. Should you ask her if she needs to pee, not mention it? It would be interesting to see how long she'll wait to ask, but you would feel better if you tried to make her comfortable.
Which do you do?
