SHEMME Choice Based Adventure
Caitlin’s name is called by the barista. She walks over to the counter to pick up the drinks and walks out.
Caitlin gets back into the car and starts to pull out. As she drives towards school, we see flashbacks pass by. They’re written in text and replace street signs and other advertisements.
“Jesse and I have been friends for forever.”
“One time Jesse showed up outside my window on Valentine’s Day. I knew he was gay and he
knew I was single. He stood there, with his guitar, and sang love songs for me. It meant a lot to
me.”
“And another time Jesse agreed to let me film him for my Lit and Film project. We made it into a full day downtown, asking strangers about their preferred breakfast food.”
“He’s been planning this party for a while now. It’s a tradition for the junior years to find an
empty house to trash and party at the weekend before prom. He’s been really excited. I just
hope I don’t let him down.”
