Ghost Pirates of the Sea-erra Madre
You're not going out without a fight! You yell out to your crew that they should defend the ship, but realize you can't see any of them.
While searching the ship for some sort of weapon, you discover that your crew have already evacuated into the life rafts. Now that you think of it, you vaguely remember someone yelling "abandon ship" and trying to pull you towards...something. It didn't seem important at the time considering that you were about to see real ghosts!
You manage to find a harpoon gun and fire it at some pirates on deck, but as they're ghosts it just passes straight through them. Dang.
You decide to hide and duck into the engine room, just avoiding a plethora of pirates chasing after you.
You're not sure how long you'll be able to hide from the ghost pirates, but you realize that the engine room contains the solution to your problems: the experimental time-distortion engine!
You were warned not to use it unless you really had to, but you figure this is probably such an emergency. You pull the lever activating the engine and it starts shaking, giving off strange lights, and humming. The noise gets louder and the lights get brighter until they overwhelm all of your senses. Suddenly everything goes dark and silent.
You look around and see that you're still on the deck of the Moaray Jr., but now you're underwater and the ship seems to be covered with seaweed and other detritus!
