Max activates his bats magnet powers, and when the Ghost gets close enough, he wraps his bat in the chains and yanks them into a bell. The Ghost crumples and falls to the ground.
Max doesn't hesitate. He unlinks his bat from the chains and sprints away from the Ghost and towards the silver bell. He vaguely hears the rattle of chains as the Ghost gets up, but he's not about to look back. He reaches the silver bell, just as he feels a skeletal hand grab his wrist.
