Youth Mental Health

While talking to the school counselor, they tell you many ways to implement self-care and relaxation in the classroom to help your students. They recommend many things, such as taking time to do breathing techniques and activities with your students, offering them tools like glitter bottles to help calm them and alleviate their stress, or allowing them a small amount of free time to color or do something fun to minimize the stress of a school day. They also tell you that they have been thinking about putting together a mental health workshop hosted by an organization called the Youth Mental Health project, but not enough teachers have expressed interest. They ask if you are interested and would like to help spread the word.
