UR NAME IS KORO

You don't have to hear that twice! You jump out of the boot and RUN. You don't even bother to take the tape off your mouth you just run as fast as you can... there is seemly nothing around... you are in the middle of nowhere running straight into the wind so hard that your feet barely touch the ground and your eyes are streaming. You hear a commotion in the distance where you just came from but you don't dare look back you just keep running and running. Eventually you come to a road and flag down the first car you see. Thankfully they stop and you cry for joy, SO THANKFUL for your life. You get in the car and they drive you all the way to the closest Police station where you spend hours filling our statements about the incident. They find the place you were held by the description and the drivers description of where you were picked up. Apparently you weren't first kid he'd kidnapped. They found another kid locked in a cage in a hidden cellar under a shack near where you had escaped from. Malnourished and filthy. He was even in your year at school. His name's Sam. And he went missing about 2 years ago. There were others before him too. But you were the first to ever get away and without you Sam may have never been found. The woman with him was his mother, he killed her in a blind rage after she helped you escape, strangled her as you ran away and you couldn't ever thank her for what she did for you. From that day on you approached life with a new sense of gusto and gratitude... you take the time to stop and smell each flower and appreciate it's fragile beauty. Now you make the most of an opportunity when it presents itself because you know life is short and you have a deep sense of self worth because you never really know just how much you truly, deeply appreciate something until it's almost taken away. You will spend the rest of your life doing so many WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL and inspiring things... it's not always easy, but nothing worth having is easily attained. You just give back that gratitude for the life you get to have now. You will do some truly great things in your lifetime, but don't take my word for it. Just go and live. You are truly blessed to be alive.
