An Island Adventure

"Well," the pilot says, wriggling around. "I thought it was from the landing and hitting my bum bum on the landing gears, but I'm starting to think that..."
He gasps.
"Oh no, it's happening again!"

He drops his head, making incoherent mumbling noises, his glasses slipping down, and he reaches up to pull his bandana (it was clearly his hat that he's modified due to the heat) over his eyes.
He lets out a burp and then starts to speak.

"Uh-huh-huh," he says, his voice guttural but resembling someone you almost recognise. "Died on the toilet, mmm huh."

You look to the other surviving passengers. You all know what's happened.

"I'm Elvis Presley, y'all, thank you very much," he says, lip curling. His eyes are still covered by his bandana and he is now rocking back and forth.

"It's the King!" one of the survivors shouts, gasping. She puts down the brick she had somehow found and sits at the pilot's feet. "Hello, Elvis!"

"I'm all shook up, uhh huh"

You realise that the pilot has been entered by the spirit of Elvis Presley, famous singer and cheeseburger eater.

"Does anyone have a question, hound dogs?"

"Um," you clear your throat. "Why is your spirit on this island, Elvis?"

"Aloha from Hawaii, mmm hmm," the pilot grumbles, burping. "Burning love, blue hawaii film, big poo, died on the toilet, mmm hmm."

"I remember that film," you say, looking around at the others. "Elvis becomes a tourist guide and..."

"The King ain't no tourist guide, jailhouse rock, return to sender, uhh huh," he interrupts. "Died on the toilet."

"Well, ok," you say, abashed. "Did you really die on the toilet or did you get a look-a-like to replace you like in the film Bubba Ho-Tep?"

"Elvis has left the building," the pilot shudders, coughs, burps, and starts talking in his normal voice again. "What were you asking about my sore bum?"

"Nevermind that," an American calls from the group. "Elvis just entered you!"

"Oh, not him again..." the pilot groans, and adjusts his glasses. "No wonder my mouth tastes of peanut butter."
