Into The Luciverse
Your stomach rumbles as you step out of the Cathedral. With the severe headache this morning, you forgot to make yourself breakfast and ran off to the church. You were also supposed to stock up on groceries after the visit to the tavern, but it’s fairly obvious what actually happened. You make your way over to the marketplace, in your mind you start to think about what you should whip up in the kitchen, or you wonder if you should just visit a tavern for food… Perhaps the latter wasn’t a very wise idea.
The marketplace is bustling with business when you arrive, there’s a fairly large crowd walking around. You walk past several stands taking in the smell of fresh produce and hearing conversations between vendors and customers. You find yourself in front of the fruit stand for your first stop. The assorted bright colors from the fruit are a sight for sore eyes, but that’s more likely a testament to your growing hunger. A little snack while you shop around couldn’t hurt, you grab yourself an orange, and toss the vendor a gold coin out of your pouch.
While you make your way to the meat vendor you peel the orange and take a bite of the fruit. It’s a little sour but the sweetness does more than enough to balance it out, maybe today will be a good day after all! You feel someone bump into you as they run by, while it’s an inconvenience, you don’t mind too much at… Wait, that girl who bumped into you is holding something. Wait, that’s your pouch! You groan and clench your fist before chasing the thief who’s currently wearing a tattered hooded cloak. She’s quite nimble and weaves her way through the crowd with ease, you on the other hand could be doing a little better.
You catch her taking a hard right to break out of the crowd into an alleyway but it would take a lot more than that to get the slip on… Uh oh… where did she go? The second you’re out of the crowd she’s not there, and there are several paths she could’ve gone… Where do you think she went?
