Unbalanced

You carefully move along the edge of the room, avoiding the clacking sound as best as you can. As you approach the door, your foot strikes the edge of something soft. Looking down you see the pelt of a large, fur covered mammal with multiple legs. It appears that the pelt was being used as a cape, before something removed it violently, as the bloody bit of steel plate attached to it shows. Underneath it, you find a single dagger, it's blade pristine and unbloodied.
