Unbalanced

Following along the wall to the right, you make your way past several other doors, identical to the one you woke up behind. Before you have a chance to consider checking for other survivors, the yellow light in front of you grows white hot. Searing pain fills your head for a brief moment and then, instantly disappears. In front of you stands a large form, clad entirely in dark steel plate and gripping a war axe in it's hands. The heraldry on its chest, something like a lion and a serpent, glows a dim yellow. From behind a barbute mask, you see human eyes quickly flick up and down your person. For a brief moment, the being seems stunned… but in an instant it moves forward quickly, eyes locked into yours.
