Unbalanced

After waiting for what seems like an hour, you start to notice a low rumbling growing in the distance. Like thunder, it strikes at random. The noise grows in intensity until it seems that the room itself shakes with subdued fury. In between the noise, you can almost make out a set of voices growing ever closer.
