Pitch Black

You turn left and the hall looks a bit more brightly lit in that direction. Ornate wall sconces are holding candles which flicker as you walk past them. As you wander down the hall you notice the pictures on either side of you. They contain scenes of daily life and family portraits. The pictures are black and white and very ancient looking. None of them stand out.

You come face to face with a heavy wooden door. There is a key stuck in the knob so that you may open it.
