Superheroes are Normal?

After a quick five-minute walk back to your classroom, and seating yourself back down in your familiar seat, your class had started back up in what seemed to be such a short notice. You sat in your seat for what seemed like hours, and you were right, it’s been two hours of a boring lecture about physics. To put it simply, you felt like you were about to lose your mind just because of how bored you were.

At least, until you felt a light crumpling sound by your feet.

You looked down and saw a wrinkly ball of paper. You reckoned that it was a note, because what else could it possibly be? First, before picking up the small ball of paper, you check to see if the teacher was paying attention. Turns out that he was in the middle of almost dozing off mid-lecture. This was the perfect chance!

You swiftly plucked the paper up from the ground with your pointer and thumb, then, as silently as you could, unraveled the paper to see the writing within.

Wow, that was anticlimactic as hell, but there was never really a signature to it, other than a dark star and a...light star...wait a minute.

You looked back and tried to make eye-contact with the one that you thought threw the note, and wouldn’t you know it, you were met with a pair of dual-colored eyes. It was August, and he seemed pleased that you figured out his puzzle. You thought for a second that it would’ve been bad if Mr. Coffins caught the note and figured out who it was, so it was smart to not put a signature.

You figured that writing notes back and forth would be a good time-burner, so you decided to just go for it. You flipped the previous note over onto its blank side, and started writing.

𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱, 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝘂𝗰𝗸𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜’𝗺 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮!

Then you crumpled up the note, and threw in lightly behind you. You then sat back and waited for the cycle to continue, and it did, slowly and steadily

After you threw that note back and August read it, the bell had rung, meaning that it was time for training courses. Since it was the first day, there weren't really any training lessons, so it was just freestyle sparing.

You saw August walk up to you from his seat, “I would like to help you, if you don’t mind, so...let’s walk to the training grounds so we can get started.”

You honestly didn’t have the heart to refuse, so you went along with it, even though you kinda expected to end up being bruised all over by the end of this period. Well, only one way to find out I guess...
