You can’t help but start laughing. The doctor and Selena frown.
“You two can’t be serious? You expect me to believe this? Dr. Apati, I have it on good authority that the sickness from Mr. Ufu is identical to what was seen at Ba’Deena. Now please sir, be honest with me.”
“I mean no disrespect ranger,” he says. “But there is nothing else I have to say on the matter. Selena, please.”
He turns away and you grab his arm. You’re not letting him walk away from you this easily. He jerks his arm free of your grip.
“Dr. Apati, what are you hiding?” you ask.
“You are going too far here. Is this your first assignment or something? Grab me again and I will be forced to call security.”
Well, you were sent to this planet for one reason only and that was to protect peoples’ lives. This doctor is clearly not telling you the truth. You advance and push him against the wall. “You need to tell me everything now.”
All of a sudden you feel a sharp pain on the back of your neck and turn around to see Selena with a stun gun. She also has a green button that’s pressed down in her hand and a moment later the doors of the medical bay burst open with Ela’Derhn security.

An hour later, you are back in your cruiser and looking out blankly at the stars around you. Ela’Derhn revoked your stay and contacted the Sukhani government to have you removed from the planet immediately. As you start your journey back to Derista, you think through your choices and realize your hot-headed mistakes. If only you had been less impulsive. You sigh and as you look at your dashboard, a hologram of the planet Sukhan hovering with now bold red letters “MISSION FAILED” across it, you can only hope that you will make wiser decisions in your next adventure.
