High school stories
The guy looks at you angrily. "You- you- you- you-" he manages to stutter. "Yeah, me- me- me- me?" you say, relaxing a little bit.
"You're my new roommate?"
"I guess. I was sent here, so I think there were no mistakes made."
The handsome guy runs a hand through his dyed blue hair and furrows his brow. "I was hoping 'Alex' would be short for Alexandra or something."
You stiffen up immediately. "Wait, so you wanted a girl for your roommate?" He nods.
"Great, then. As you can see, I'm not a girl."
"Well, that is a problem." he says, and the two of you stand around awkwardly.
You notice that the blue-haired freak has still not unpacked, so you call dibs on the better side of the room and sit down with a sigh. "You know, I don't think this can be helped, so we might as well become friends. Whaddaya say?" you ask.
