High school stories

You decide to head to the teacher's offices, followed by Emma, and follow the arrows plastered everywhere for the newcomers.
There are a lot of teachers sitting around, arranging their stuff in their cubicles. One particularly knowledgable-looking teacher catches your eye. "Hi, ma'am! I'm new here. Could you tell me where I'm supposed to go?"
She smiles warmly and nods in response. "Welcome to Lincoln High! My name is Mrs. Sanders. Come, I'll show you around." And you walk with the teacher around the school.
After you have had a decent knowledge about the location of all your classes, she hands the two of you your timetables. "You will be given one by your homeroom teacher as well, but you might as well have one in hand," Mrs. Sanders informs you with a twinkle in her eye. "For now, head to the dorms. Your assigned prefect will tell you which rooms belong to you."
Thanking her profusely, you stuff the timetable in your backpack and wheel your suitcases towards the dormitories. This is the moment. You glance at Emma, who looks nonchalant about the entire thing. She may be more of an extrovert than you are. After all, the did have the guts to initiate the conversation on the bus...
