Errant

You decide to follow the way beside the ladder. Perhaps whoever placed it there came that way before you. The wall seem to be naturally forming, though you're hardly an experienced stone mason. As you make your way down the tunnel you find it begins to grow narrower. the cool walls start to press in on you until it's almost too close to bear. Then, just as you think you can't go any farther you see light. You press on closer and close and suddenly the cave open into a massive cavern.

You a large underground lake spans nearly the entire width of the space but walking paths surround the entire circumference. The light, you can see now, is coming from glowing white crystals hanging from the ceiling like stalactites. They reflect off the surface of the water and cast their glow over the entirety of the chamber. It's beautiful and unlike anything you've ever seen before. When you come to the water's edge you can see schools of fish wading in the water, their scales glowing almost as strongly as the crystals above.

On the other side of the water you can see some of the crystals have either fallen or are growing from the floor. If you wanted to, you could probably take some with you. You could certainly walk around, but you already feel tired by the long climb down here. Will you head there immediately, take a rest by the water, or you could take a small dip if you wanted...
