The aircraft carrier

You wind up in a dogfight, as the other Messerschmitt is launched off the catapult and catches up to you, spraying you with pinpoint accuracy cannon fire. You pull up as hard as possible, then shut off the jet. You flip backwards mid-freefall and spray the oncoming Messerschmitt. The left engine of the other plane is now occasionally sputtering, but it doesn't deter the enemy pilot. You flip the jets back on and pull up once again at the last moment, levelling yourself out, mere feet away from the raging sea. You make an amazingly sharp turn around the bow of the aircraft carrier. Your right wingtip skims the water, and the other pilot isn't so lucky; his wingtip skims the bow of the carrier, and you're going so fast now that you only hear the screeching of metal on metal a few seconds after you see it happen. The other plane slips and begins to spin after striking the carrier, but the pilot brings the weaving plane back under control. It's coming down to a test of skill, and both of you are top-of-the-line pilots. The jets scream like crazy, but you outmaneuver the trailing plane and loop back behind him. He weaves around like a snake, and you hit about half your shots. The shots you took satisfy you, for one of the jets on the other plane falters and spits out a tiny trail of flame before the other pilot shuts it down. Now handicapped and riddled with holes, the opposing pilot is struggling to keep control, he eventually tires out and brings his jet for a rough landing on the aircraft carrier's runway, skidding sideways mid-landing. You fly off...
